 January 7, 2008 - People often ask what players in the National Pro Fastpitch league do when they are not playing ball during the summer season. Players can be found in a variety of jobs and activities across the country. We will be profiling some of the Riptide players so you can catch up on what's been going on!
Carri Leto Martin
Martin returned for her second year as an assistant softball coach at Harvard, fresh from winning the Ivy League championship last year. She loves her team and her job, and looks forward to continued success for the team. Martin also managed some time for travel in the off-season. She and husband JD celebrated their one-year anniversary in Miami. She also traveled to Northwestern University for Homecoming; California, New Jersey and New York several times for the holidays, and Walt Disney World in Orlando for her cousin's 4th birthday.She is squeezing in a trip to visit her grandmother before the Harvard season begins with clinics and "spring" training in February.
